Security patrols

Autonomous security patrols on your sites

EMOS is the software that runs a patrol robot on your site. It does the rounds you set, detects people and vehicles, and sends the alerts to your control room.

The problem

Guards are hard to find, and night shifts are the hardest to fill. Your clients expect automation. Some of your competitors already have robots on patrol.

A patrol robot ships with a software development kit, not with a patrol application. The demo you see at a trade show is often scripted or remote controlled. Out of the box the robot does not know your site, your hours, or what your operators need to see. Getting it to run a real patrol on a client's site normally takes months of development and a team to do it.

With EMOS you get there in days. No custom development, no team to hire. The robot runs real patrols on your site and reports to your control room.

How a patrol runs
  1. 01

    Schedule

You set the routes and the hours. At the set time the robot leaves its dock, does the round and comes back to charge. Nobody has to start it.

  2. 02

    Patrol

The robot follows the route we mapped with you. It goes around obstacles. If a path is blocked or a point cannot be reached, it does what you decided it should do and tells the operator.

    Event

The robot detects people and vehicles with models that run on the robot itself, so detection does not stop when the network drops. You decide what happens on each event. A person in a closed zone raises an alert. A low battery sends the robot back to its dock.

    Alert

Alerts arrive in the control room or alarm receiving centre your operators already use, with the camera image and the robot's position. If there is no control room, the person on call gets a notification on their phone. Every event is stored with its image. Each morning you get a patrol report.

Cameras and door contacts already installed on the site can trigger the robot too.

What you get

The pilot

One robot, one site The scope and the timeline are fixed before we begin. Acceptance criteria are agreed in advance.
Two to four weeks From kickoff to the acceptance run on your site. Your staff are trained along the way.
You choose the site We help you choose a robot that suits it, then survey and map the site with you, on your premises.
Licence bought once Valid for the life of the robot. Add robots later and nothing from the pilot is bought twice.

Security companies in Europe already run their patrols with EMOS.

Book thirty minutes with us and bring one of your sites. We will tell you whether it fits a pilot and what the first weeks would look like.
